Staffing Change in Premier's Office

Premier Rodney MacDonald's director of communications, Sasha Irving, has decided to leave her position, effective Sept. 14.

"I am always sorry to lose someone of Sasha's calibre, but I would never ask anyone to hold back on developing their career further in whatever capacity they chose," said the premier. "Sasha is passionate about her work, exceptionally talented, and she worked very hard for the province. She will do well in whatever she chooses and I wish her all the best."

The recruitment process for Ms. Irving's successor will begin immediately.
