Highland Village Museum Holds Codfish Supper
Tasty treats and unforgettable sights will headline another exciting weekend at Highland Village Museum.
Highland Village Museum/An Clachan Gàidhealach in Iona will be holding its codfish supper on Saturday, Aug. 25. Enjoy a traditional Cape Breton codfish meal with all the trimmings, including potatoes, curds, chow, bacon scraps, tea, coffee, biscuits and cookies.
The dinner is $12 for adults and $6 for children. Hot dogs are available upon request.
The supper will take place from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., rain or shine, in the tuning room. Arrive early and experience the outdoor display of Gaelic life in Nova Scotia. Explore period buildings, visit with costumed interpreters, witness re-enactments of the Gael's day-to-day activities and enjoy the breathtaking view.
