Government Surplus Auction
The Nova Scotia government will hold its next surplus equipment auction on Saturday, July 28.
A complete list of items to be auctioned is not yet available, but is expected to include several motor vehicles and trailers, numerous extension and step ladders, a variety of apartment-sized refrigerators, snowblowers, lawn maintenance equipment, and office furniture.
A more detailed list of items and photos will be posted on the following website one or two days before the auction, www.gov.ns.ca/tran/govservices/govauction.asp .
The auction will be held at the Department of Transportation and Public Works' warehouse at 10 Acadia St., in Dartmouth at 10 a.m. The items can be viewed between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m.
The auction will be conducted by A&A Auctioneering. Payment must be made by cash or auctioneer-approved cheque. Credit cards or debit cards will not be accepted.
Money earned in this auction is used to help pay down the provincial debt.
