DriveWiser Presentation in Broad Cove
With another winter behind us and summer just around the corner, many Nova Scotians are already thinking about long-anticipated road trips or sunny Sunday drives. Conserve Nova Scotia is encouraging Nova Scotians to keep fuel efficiency in mind when on the road.
As part of Conserve Nova Scotia's DriveWiser program, residents in Broad Cove, Lunenburg Co., will have the opportunity to learn how to be more fuel efficient drivers this summer, and all year-round.
"You don't have to own a hybrid to be an efficient driver," said Bill Dooks, minister responsible for Conserve Nova Scotia. "By making a few changes in our driving habits, we can all do our part to reduce our greenhouse-gas emissions."
Broad Cove residents attending the DriveWiser workshop will learn about topics such as green driving habits, poor car maintenance and driving habits, and how to save money and reduce your carbon footprint, among others.
The DriveWiser presentation will take place Wednesday, May 30, at Broad Cove Community Hall from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
