Government Surplus Auction This Saturday
Everything but the kitchen sink might be the theme of Saturday's government of Nova Scotia surplus auction.
Auction attendees will find a selection of commercial kitchen equipment. For those more comfortable in the workshop or the garage, there are motor vehicles, machine shop equipment, tuning equipment, a car hoist and an engine analyzer. There are also bathroom fixtures, laminated flooring, office furniture and electronic equipment such as cellphones and fax machines.
A link to a partial list, with photos, is posted on the front page of the Department of Transportation and Public Works' website at www.gov.ns.ca/tran/ .
The auction will be held Saturday, April 21, at the Transportation and Public Works' warehouse at 10 Acadia St. in Dartmouth at 10 a.m. Items can be viewed between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m.
The auction will be conducted by A&A Auctioneering. Payment must be made by cash or auctioneer-approved cheque. Credit cards or debit cards will not be accepted.
Money earned in this auction is used to help pay down the provincial debt.
