Tall Ships Nova Scotia Festival 2007

The Tarangini, a three-masted barque from India, will join the fleet in Halifax for the Tall Ships Nova Scotia Festival July 13 to July 16. The name Tarangini comes from the Hindi word 'tarang' which means waves, a name boding well for a sail training ship.

Tarangini is one of the many ships expected for the Tall Ships Nova Scotia Festival 2007.

Tall Ships will sail into Halifax and then head north and south to other ports across the province for the following week.

Confirmed vessels include:

  • Bluenose II Lunenburg, Nova Scotia, Canada
  • Caledonia, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada
  • La Revenante, Gaspe, Quebec, Canada
  • Mar II, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada
  • Schooner Virginia, Norfolk, Virginia
  • Silva, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada
