NEW WORK
KINGS COUNTY: Highway 101
Highway 101 between Exit 8 Hantsport and Exit 9 Avonport will be down to one lane in each direction, with anticipated traffic delays, for work on the Ben Jackson Road underpass from Monday, Feb. 12, until Friday, Feb. 16.
Traffic control will consist of a traffic control person. Detour on Trunk 1 at Exit 9 Avonport for eastbound traffic and Trunk 1 at Exit 8 Hantsport for westbound traffic. Work will take place from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

HALIFAX REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Lawrencetown River Bridge
Lawrencetown River Bridge on Highway 207, near Lawrencetown Beach, will be closed for replacement until Thursday, May 31.
A one-lane bridge will be installed with traffic lights until construction is complete.

KINGS COUNTY: Highway 101
There will be periodic highway lane closings near the West Brooklyn underpass for road repairs until Saturday, March 31.
Traffic control consists of signs and traffic control persons. Traffic may be stopped for short periods. Work will take place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

KINGS COUNTY: Old Baxters Mill Bridge Lane Closure and Weight Restrictions
The Old Baxters Mill Bridge near Baxters Harbour is open to one lane of traffic. Vehicles weighing more than 5,000 kilograms are restricted from using the bridge.

KINGS COUNTY: West Brooklyn Road
West Brooklyn Road over Highway 101 will be closed until Saturday, March 31, to replace the overpass.
Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

LUNENBURG COUNTY: Highway 103
Highway 103 will have alternating lane closures for highway sign replacement until Saturday, March 31.
Traffic control consists of a flashing light unit, barrels and traffic cones. Detour route on Trunk 3 from Hubbards to Blockhouse. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

PICTOU COUNTY: Big Gut Bridge
Big Gut Bridge, on Route 348 near Pictou Landing, is open to motorists. A temporary bridge will accommodate one-lane traffic and will be controlled by traffic signals. The bridge width restriction is 4.2 metres. Motorists should proceed with caution.

The West River East Side Road near Salt Springs is reduced to one lane for repairs until further notice. Traffic control consists of traffic signals.
