Resignation of Kevin Deveaux, MLA

Earlier today, Feb. 1, Cecil Clarke, Speaker of the House of Assembly, received a letter of resignation from Kevin Deveaux as member for the electoral district of Cole Harbour-Eastern Passage effective March 1.

Mr. Deveaux is leaving "a legacy of an exemplary level of service to the electorate of your constituency and the people of the province," said the Speaker in a letter to Mr. Deveaux, accepting his resignation.
