Government Surplus Auction Saturday

Keen shoppers can seek bargains at the government of Nova Scotia surplus auction Saturday, Jan. 27.

There will be a selection of automotive testing equipment such as an engine analyzer, a wheel balancer and wheel alignment equipment. The less automotively inclined can bid on an air-hockey table, seven electric pallet movers, a 10-horsepower outboard motor and two single-axle utility trailers among the items which will also include a number of auctioneer-owned household lots.

The auction will be held at the Transportation and Public Works' warehouse at 10 Acadia St., Dartmouth at 10 a.m. Items can be viewed between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m.

The auction will be conducted by A&A Auctioneering. Payment must be made by cash or auctioneer-approved cheque. Credit cards or debit cards will not be accepted.

Money earned in the auction is used to pay down the provincial debt.
