Government Surplus Auction
The Nova Scotia government will hold its next surplus equipment auction on Saturday, Jan. 27.
A list of items to be auctioned is not yet available, but is expected to include automotive testing equipment and office furniture. A complete list of items and photos will be posted on the following website one or two days before the auction: www.gov.ns.ca/tran/govservices/govauction.asp .
The auction will be held at the Department of Transportation and Public Works' warehouse at 10 Acadia St. in Dartmouth at 10 a.m. The items can be viewed between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m.
The auction will be conducted by A&A Auctioneering. Payment must be made by cash or auctioneer-approved cheque. Credit cards or debit cards will not be accepted.
Money earned in this auction is used to pay down the provincial debt.
