KINGS COUNTY: Highway 101
Highway 101 between Exit 8 Hantsport and Exit 9 Avonport will have a lane closure for the erection of bridge girders at the Ben Jackson Underpass on Sunday, Jan. 21.
Traffic control will consist of traffic control persons, barricades and detour signage. A detour will be provided for east bound traffic on Trunk 1 at Exit 9 Avonport and for west bound traffic on Trunk 1 at Exit 8 Hanstport. Work will take place from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.

CAPE BRETON REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Route 305
The one lane bridge on Route 305, Leitches Creek will be closed for repairs for Wednesday, Jan. 17, until further notice.
A detour will be available via Highway 125.

HALIFAX REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Lawrencetown River Bridge
Lawrencetown River Bridge on Highway 207, near Lawrencetown Beach, will be closed for replacement until Thursday, May 31.
A one-lane bridge will be installed with traffic lights until construction is complete.

KINGS COUNTY: Old Baxters Mill Bridge Weight Restrictions
The Old Baxters Mill Bridge near Baxters Harbour is open to one lane of traffic. Vehicles weighing more than 5,000 kilograms are restricted from using the bridge.

KINGS COUNTY: West Brooklyn Road
West Brooklyn Road over Highway 101 will be closed until Saturday, March 31, to remove and replace the overpass.

PICTOU COUNTY: Big Gut Bridge
Big Gut Bridge, on Route 348 near Pictou Landing, is opened to motorists. A temporary bridge will accommodate one-lane traffic and will be controlled by traffic signals. The bridge width restriction is 4.2 metres. Motorists should proceed with caution.

PICTOU COUNTY: St. Paul's Road
St. Paul's Road, from Route 348 to East River West Road, will be closed to traffic for repairs to the St. Paul's Bridge until Friday, Jan. 26.

PICTOU COUNTY: Thorburn Road Overpass
The Thorburn Road overpass at Exit 26 on Highway 104 will occasionally have a reduced speed limit because of shoulder work until Sunday, Jan. 21.
Drivers are asked to reduce speed and watch for construction equipment and personnel when passing through the area. Thorburn Bridge has a maximum posted weight of 25 tonnes. A detour around the bridge is available either along the paved section of Hollow Road, from Thorburn Road southerly to Route 347 (Sherbrooke Hwy) or via a short gravel section of Hollow Road that runs parallel to the bridge.
