New Year's Day Levee

Lt.-Gov. Mayann Francis will receive the public for the annual New Year's Day levee from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 1.

This year's levee will be held in a new location at Province House, 1726 Hollis St., Halifax.

"The New Year's Day levee is a long-standing tradition," said the lieutenant governor. "I think it is important to ensure this tradition continues as an opportunity to celebrate the New Year with Nova Scotians."

Musical entertainment will be provided and families with children are welcome.
