Premier's 2006 Holiday Message

The holiday season is a time to reflect and enjoy the blessings in our lives, a time to spend with our families and friends, and a chance to celebrate the year's achievements. As I look ahead, I have no doubt the future is filled with opportunities for Nova Scotia.

I believe we live in the best province in the country, and in the best country in the world. Our province is unique, thanks to the spirit of our people and our vibrant communities. Although 2006 was a dynamic year, filled with great accomplishments and indeed some challenges, I am confident that 2007 is going to be even better.

I wish you and your family a safe and happy holiday season and a new year filled with peace and happiness. May the blessings of the season be with you now and always.
