Gift Cards Available; Expected to be Top Holiday Sellers
For the first time, the Nova Scotia Liquor Corporation is offering gift cards for the holiday season.
The cards, available in $10, $25 and $50 denominations and redeemable in any NSLC location, proved to be popular during the first weekend they were available, surpassing expectations.
"Our customers were looking for creative gift ideas. Our gift cards offer the perfect solution," said Rick Perkins, vice-president of marketing and communications.
NSLC sold $913,600 worth of gift certificates last December, showing that the NSLC is becoming an increasingly popular destination for gift purchases, Mr. Perkins said.
In addition to gift cards, the NSLC has more than 100 seasonal products and gift packs ranging from Bah Humbug Beer ($4.28) to the Absolut Vodka Variety Pack ($14.98) to the Veuve Clicquot City Traveller Champagne Case ($56.29).
"We have worked with our suppliers around the globe to bring a world of enjoyment to our customers this holiday season," said Adriana Dolnyckyj, merchandising director.
The NSLC's website, www.thenslc.com , has gift and entertaining ideas, as well as the holiday issue of Occasions.
