The Ohio Cross Iron Bridge on the Ohio West Road over the Ohio River is closed for replacement until Friday, Dec. 15.
A detour is available on Ohio Cross Road.

Highway 104 in Heatherton will be reduced to one lane from Sunday, Nov. 12 until Thursday, Nov. 30 for concrete repairs.

CAPE BRETON REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Trunk 4
There will be lane closings on Trunk 4 between Victoria Junction and Gardiner Road to allow repaving.
Work will take place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. until Thursday, Nov. 30. This is a four-lane section, so one lane will always be open in each direction. Drivers should reduce speed and drive with extra caution in the construction zone.

CAPE BRETON REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Trunk 4
Trunk 4 will be reduced to one lane from the church in East Bay for 3.5 kilometres west, to allow repaving until Friday, Nov. 17.
Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and traffic will be directed by traffic control persons and signs.

COLCHESTER COUNTY: Lilyvale Bridge
Lilyvale Bridge on Lilyvale Road is closed for repairs until further notice. Traffic control consists of signs. Detours are available on Camden Road and Riversdale Road.

Robie Street, Truro, will be reduced to two lanes for paving and construction of curbs and sidewalks until Friday, Nov. 24.

COLCHESTER COUNTY: Route 236
Route 236, from the 102 overpass at Robie Street to Old Mill Road, will be reduced to one lane until Friday, Nov. 24, so workers can install culverts and pave.

Molasses Harbour Bridge on Route 316 in Port Felix is reduced to one lane via a detour bridge until Thursday, Nov. 30.
Traffic will be controlled by temporary traffic signals or traffic control persons.

HALIFAX REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Highway 103
Highway 103 at Exit 5 will be under construction for gravelling and paving until Friday, Dec 22. Lanes will periodically be reduced to one lane.

Lawrencetown River Bridge on Highway 207, near Lawrencetown Beach, will be closed for replacement until Thursday, May 31, 2007.
A one lane bridge will be installed with traffic lights until construction is complete.

HALIFAX REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Route 333
Route 333, between Paddys Head and West Dover, will be reduced to one lane until Friday, Nov. 24, for paving.

HALIFAX REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Scott's Branch Bridge
Scott's Branch Bridge on Route 333 will have a lane narrowed to 3.3 metres until Friday, Dec. 8, for bridge rehabilitation, and deck and guardrail replacement.
Traffic control consists of a lighting system. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

HALIFAX REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: St. Margaret's Bay Village
Ashford Close, Fox Hollow Drive, Ashbury Court, Fox Point Drive, Fox Ridge Court and Magnolia Court in St. Margaret's Bay Village will have intermittent one-lane closures for paving until Tuesday, Nov. 14.

Three Brooks Drive and White Sands Court in Three Brooks subdivision will have intermittent one-lane closures for paving until Tuesday, Nov. 14.

HALIFAX REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Trunk 7
Trunk 7 from Highway 107 access road, Porters Lake East to Parker Lane in West Porters Lake, will be intermittently reduced to one lane for road work until Friday, Nov. 17.
Alternate route via Porters Lake to Lake Echo via Highway 107. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. and may include Saturday.

HALIFAX COUNTY: Victoria Road, Dartmouth
Starting Tuesday, Nov. 7, inbound traffic on Victoria Road will be reduced to one lane on the rail road overpass just before the exit to Highway 111 and the MacKay bridge. This will allow repairs to the joints of the overpass.
The work is expected to take one week. During that time, the lane closure will be in place 24 hours a day. The two outbound lanes will remain open.

Wyse Road Bridge in Middle Musquodoboit will be closed to truck traffic while the bridge is being repaired. Trucks will detour via Route 356 and Route 213 until further notice. Traffic control consists of signs.

INVERNESS COUNTY: Cabot Trail, Point Cross Bridge
Traffic on the Point Cross Bridge on the Cabot Trail in Cheticamp is reduced to one lane until Friday, Nov. 17 to allow for bridge repairs.
Traffic signals are in place at the bridge. Maximum load width on the bridge during repairs is 4.6 metres (15 feet).

INVERNESS COUNTY: Trunk 19
Trunk 19 from Port Hastings rotary north for five kilometres will be reduced to one lane for repaving until Thursday, Nov. 30.
Traffic control will consists of a pilot vehicle. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

KINGS COUNTY: Black Rock Road
Black Rock Road from Trunk 1 to Route 221 will be reduced to one lane for patching and repaving until Friday, Nov. 17.
Work takes place from 7 a.m. to a half-hour after sunset.

KINGS COUNTY: Bridge Street Bridge
Bridge Street Bridge on Bridge Street will be reduced to one lane for bridge and sidewalk repairs until Tuesday, Nov. 21.
There is a heavy truck traffic detour at Trunk 1 to Route 201 in Kings County and Trunk 1 to Route 201 in Annapolis County. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

KINGS COUNTY: Old Baxters Mill Bridge Weight Restrictions
The Old Baxters Mill Bridge near Baxters Harbour is open to one lane of traffic. Vehicles weighing more than 5,000 kilograms are restricted from using the bridge.

KINGS COUNTY: Victoria Road, Secondary Road 221
Road improvement work will take place on Victoria Road north of Aylesford, from the Highway 101 overpass north for two kilometres to the intersection of Secondary Road 221, and then east on Secondary Road 221 for one kilometre, until Friday, Nov. 17.
Work will take place between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. Traffic will be reduced to one lane in sections where work is taking place.

KINGS COUNTY: West Brooklyn Road
West Brooklyn Road over Highway 101 will be closed until Saturday, March 31, 2007. This is to allow for the removal and replacement of the existing overpass.

The intersection of Trunk 3 and Duke Street in Chester will periodically be reduced to one lane for installation of new sidewalks and curbs until Wednesday, Nov. 15.

Sperry Bridge No. 2 on Petite Riviere Road is closed until further notice. Detours are posted.

Varner No. 2 Bridge on Route 208 in New Germany, will be closed to all traffic until Wednesday, Nov. 30, for replacement of deck and repairs to steel truss.
A detour is available via Zwicker Mill Road, Trunk 10, Lower Branch Road and School Street.

PICTOU COUNTY: Big Gut Bridge
Big Gut Bridge, on Route 348 near Pictou Landing, is opened to motorists. A temporary bridge will accommodate one-lane traffic and will be controlled by traffic signals. The bridge has a width restriction of 4.2 m. Motorists should proceed with caution.

PICTOU COUNTY: Durham Bridge
Durham Bridge, located on Green Hill Road and Route 376, will be closed for replacement until Saturday, Nov. 25.
Motorists are advised to follow detour signs.

PICTOU COUNTY: Thorburn Road Overpass
The Thorburn Road overpass at Exit 26 on Highway 104 will occasionally have a reduced speed limit because of shoulder work until Friday, Dec. 15.
Drivers are asked to reduce speed and watch for construction equipment and personnel when passing through the area. The Department of Transportation and Public Works is requesting that motorists using Route 347 use an alternate route.
