Public Invited to Visit Fish Hatchery

The Frasers Mills Fish Hatchery will host an open house on Sunday, Sept. 17, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

The Nova Scotia Fisheries and Aquaculture hatchery recently underwent renovations to its production ponds, creating more space for growing Atlantic salmon.

The public is invited to take a tour of the hatchery, and enjoy refreshments and a barbeque.

The Frasers Mills Fish Hatchery is located on Route 316, Antigonish County.
