Truro School Closure Meeting Moved to New Location

Everyone planning to attend a public meeting on Thursday, Sept. 14, about the school closure review process should note that it has been moved to a new location.

Originally planned for the Cobequid Education Centre, the meeting will now take place at the Chignecto-Central Regional School Board gymnasium, 60 Lorne St., Truro. A scheduling conflict is the reason for the new venue.

A recent provincial government newspaper advertisement had the correct location in the English copy but the old location in the French copy. All interested parties should go to the Chignecto-Central Regional School Board gymnasium; there is no school closure meeting at the Cobequid Education Centre.

The time remains unchanged, 7 p.m.
