Musique Royale Back at Highland Village

Nova Scotia Museum

The Musique Royale concert series returns to the Highland Village Museum for the second time this summer, on Wednesday, Aug. 9.

The summertime festival, showcasing Nova Scotia's musical heritage in settings with historical significance, features early and traditional music performed by local, national, and international artists.

The Petric-Forget Duo will entertain the audience with classical and baroque sounds. The concert features accordion virtuoso Joseph Petric and oboist Norman Forget who will perform works by J.S. Bach, Soler, Rameau, Telemann, and Mozart.

The concert will take place in the historical Malagawatch Church, Iona, at 7 p.m. Tickets can be purchased from the Highland Village Museum gift shop. Adult admission is $15 and student admission $5.
