45th Annual Highland Village Day Outdoor Concert

The Highland Village Museum/An Clachan Gàidhealach will host a Gaelic celebration featuring fiddling, piping, highland dancing, step dancing and Gaelic songs on Saturday, Aug. 5.

The 45th annual Là Mór a' Clachain /Highland Village Day outdoor concert will take place from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Highland Village Museum.

The Iona Gaelic Singers, Carl MacKenzie, Kyle MacNeil, Tracy Dares, Paul K. MacNeil, Donnie Campbell, Joanne MacIntyre, Jeff MacDonald, and the Boisdale Trio will be featured. Joe Murphy and John Ferguson will emcee the event. Adult admission is $10 and children 12 and under are free.

Following the concert, there will be an evening square dance at the Iona Legion with music from Brent Aucoin, Tracey Dares, and John Ferguson. The dance will be held from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m., for adults age 19 and over. Admission is $6.
