Musique Royale Back in Iona
The Highland Village Museum/An Clachan Gàidhealach welcomes back the Musique Royale concert series as it returns to the Malagawatch Church for a second summer.
On Saturday, July 29, the Best of Boxwood concert will feature world-class flute player Chris Norman, a soloist with a wealth of knowledge in various musical genres, and the Boxwood Ensemble. Special guests Irish uilleann piper Paddy Keenan and the Breton flute player Jean-Michel Veillon will also preform.
Musique Royale is a summertime festival showcasing Nova Scotia's musical heritage in settings with historical significance. The festival features early and traditional music performed by local, national, and international artists.
The Best of Boxwood concert will take place at 7 p.m., at the historic Malagawatch Church, in Iona. Tickets can be purchased from the Highland Village Museum gift shop. Adult admission is $15, student admission $5.
The Highland Village Museum/An Clachan Gàidhealach is located in Iona overlooking the Bras dOr Lakes. It is a part of the Nova Scotia Museum family.
