Cone Zone Website Map Features Road Construction News
Motorists planning a road trip in Nova Scotia this summer should make the new road construction map on the Department of Transportation and Public Works website the first stop.
Visitors to the site can click on an orange cone on the map and read current updates on road construction in districts across the province.
"The map allows drivers to prepare for delays and plan alternate routes," said Angus MacIsaac, Minister of Transportation and Public Works. "Our goal is to improve the safety of our road workers and the travelling public, and reduce frustration during road work season."

The Department of Transportation and Public Works maintains 23,000 kilometres of road and 4,100 bridges.
