Swearing-in of Cabinet, MLAs, and House of Assembly Opening

A new provincial cabinet will be sworn in on Tuesday, June 27, at 11 a.m., at Province House, Halifax.

Members of the Legislative Assembly will be sworn in during a ceremony at 9 a.m. on Thursday, June 29, at Province House, Halifax.

The House of Assembly will convene later that morning, at 11 a.m., to elect a new speaker. The speech from the throne will be read by Lt.-Gov. Myra Freeman at 2 p.m.
