Remaining Road Weight Restrictions to be Removed April 24

Weight restrictions will be removed from roads in nine remaining Nova Scotia counties at 12:01 a.m., on Monday, April 24.

The restrictions will be removed from roads in the following counties: Cumberland, Colchester, Pictou, Antigonish, Guysborough, Richmond, Victoria, Inverness, and Cape Breton.

Weight restrictions have already been removed from the counties of Yarmouth, Shelburne, Digby, Annapolis, Queens, Kings, Lunenburg, Halifax, and Hants.

The Department of Transportation and Public Works may still have individual roads posted for lower weights in any county.
