Opening of Legislative Assembly

The first session of the 59th General Assembly of the Nova Scotia legislature will be prorogued at 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 4.

The second session of the 59th General Assembly will officially open at 2 p.m. on the same day, at which time the lieutenant-governor will read the speech from the throne.

Cecil Clarke, Speaker of the House of Assembly, issued the notice to members of the Legislative Assembly today, April 4.
