Dartmouth Harbourwalk Trail to Reopen Friday, Dec. 23

The Dartmouth Harbourwalk trail will reopen Friday, Dec. 23. It had been scheduled to open today, Dec. 19 after being closed briefly for two construction projects that were delayed because of poor weather.

The first project is a rebuilding of the trail between Cuisack Street and the new Nova Scotia Community College (NSCC) campus. Work on this part of the trail is on-going and should be completed in the new year.

The second project is the installation of a storm water pipe from the NSCC campus to the harbour.

The Waterfront Development Corporation Limited would like to remind the public that there is no winter maintenance on the trail.

The Waterfront Development Corporation Limited is a provincial Crown corporation that plans, co-ordinates, promotes and develops properties, events and activities on designated waterfronts around Halifax Harbour.
