Halloween Tours at Maritime Museum

Those who dare are invited to get Halloween off to a chilling start with the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic's haunted tour.

Guides will offer spooky tours of the museum, where ghouls, pirates and lost souls bring a creepy collection of Nova Scotian ghost stories to life -- all with a maritime twist.

Tours take place at the museum on Thursday, Oct. 27, Friday, Oct. 28, and Sunday, Oct. 30, starting at 7 p.m., 8 p.m., and 9 p.m.

The cost of the tour is $5 per person. Visitors are encouraged to register by calling 902-424-7490, as space is limited.

The tour is not recommended for children under the age of eight.

The Maritime Museum of the Atlantic is located at 1675 Lower Water St., Halifax.
