Dismissal of Work Stoppage Complaint

The Labour Relations Board announced today, Oct. 13, that it has dismissed a complaint of an illegal work stoppage filed by Rosedale Home for Special Care in New Germany.

The complaint filed today requests that the board issue a cease and desist order.

The board investigated and was not satisfied that there was a violation of the Trade Union Act.

The employees of the facility are represented by the National Automobile, Aerospace and Agriculture Implement Workers Union of Canada (CAW-Canada).
