Workers' Advisers Program Moves Office

The Workers' Advisers Program is moving its office to 5670 Spring Garden Rd., Halifax, effective Monday, Aug. 8.

The office, which is currently on Terminal Road, will be closed Friday, Aug. 5, and Monday, Aug. 8, to accommodate the move.

In case of emergency, clients can call the program's Sydney office at 1-800-890-6786 and leave a message. Staff will return the call as soon as telephone and computer systems are functioning.

The Workers' Advisers Program is an independent agency that advises, assists, and represents injured workers who have been denied benefits under the Workers' Compensation Act.
