Bargains Available at Government Surplus Auction

Bargain hunters will be in for a treat at a Nova Scotia government surplus auction Saturday, July 9.

A wide assortment of goods will be auctioned including woodworking equipment, machine shop gear, hand tools, photographic equipment, office furniture, cell phones and fax machines.

The auction will be held at the Transportation and Public Works warehouse at 10 Acadia St. in Dartmouth. The public is welcome to view the items between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. The auction begins at 10 a.m. and will be conducted by A&A Auctioneering. Payment must be made by cash or auctioneer-approved cheque (no credit cards or debit).

A minimum of 200 lots is expected from all over government. Items will be coming in until Saturday. A link to an updated list, with some photos, will be posted on the front page of the Nova Scotia Transportation and Public Works website at www.gov.ns.ca/tran/ .

Money earned in this auction is used to pay down the provincial debt.
