LUNENBURG COUNTY: Flooding and Bridge Closures

The following roads in Lunenburg County are closed due to flooding and will remain closed until further notice:

Crousetown Road -- from the Conquerall intersection to Dagley Road

Dagley Road -- from the Crousetown intersection to Italy Cross

Dauphinee Road is closed at the bridge.

Haines Road

Kingsburg Road -- from end of pavement to Hells Point Road

Mines Road -- from the Mines Road 2 intersection to the intersection of Lapland Road

Old Italy Cross -- from the intersection of Italy Cross to the intersection of Somerset Road

Petite Riviere -- Route 331 in Petite Riviere to Tannery Road

Shingle Mill Road -- no access to campground

Veinot Road is closed at Risser Bridge

Wentzell Road -- from the intersection at Mount Pleasant to the intersection at Petite Riviere

These roads are closed to local traffic only. No detours are required. Jersey barriers are in place; solar light units and advance warning signs are in place, where warranted.

The following bridges in Lunenburg County are closed due to flooding and will remain closed until further notice:

Veinot Bridge on Veinot Road, Wentzell Bridge on Wentzell Road and Petite Riviere Bridge on Petite Riviere Road will remain closed until water levels drop and a more detailed assessment can be made on the condition of each bridge.
