Chester-St. Margaret's Byelection Set For June 21

Voters in Chester-St. Margaret's will be going to the polls in a provincial byelection on Tuesday, June 21.

Premier John Hamm made the announcement Thursday, May 19.

"Now that it appears there will be no federal election this summer, it's a good time for people in Chester-St. Margaret's to choose their representative in the provincial legislature," said Premier Hamm.

The Chester-St. Margaret's seat has been vacant since the death of MLA John Chataway on Dec. 31, 2004.
