All Spring Weight Restrictions

TRANSPORTATION/PUBLIC WORKS -All Spring Weight Restrictions Lifted

Spring weight restrictions will be lifted on all provincial roads at 12:01 a.m. on Monday, May 2.

The weight restrictions have already been lifted on roads in Yarmouth, Shelburne, Digby, Annapolis, Queens, Kings, Lunenburg, Halifax and Hants counties.

Restrictions for trucks are announced each year during the spring-thaw period to help protect roads that are weakened by wet weather.
