Legislation Introduced to Change UCCB's Name

Education Minister Jamie Muir introduced legislation today, April 20, to change the name of University College of Cape Breton (UCCB) to Cape Breton University.

"We're pleased to respond to the request from the UCCB board of governors," said Mr. Muir.

The UCCB board of governors agreed on the name change on Feb. 25.
