TRANSPORTATION/PUBLIC WORKS--Traffic Advisory for Nova Scotia Roads
Motorists throughout the province are advised to drive with caution due to snow-packed roads resulting from the recent snowstorm and cold temperatures.
Many roads are snow packed with slippery areas and salt is not effective in temperatures below -10 degrees Celsius. Extra care should be taken in the evening, when moisture on the roads may freeze.
Crews from the Department of Transportation and Public Works are continuing to salt, sand and widen roads. Motorists are asked to slow down and use caution at all times.
