Highway Clearing Continues

The Department of Transportation and Public Works continues to plow and clear all 100-series highways around the province, today, Jan. 24, with the exception of the Cobequid Pass on Highway 104 (Amherst to Glenholme). This stretch of Highway 104 is expected to remain closed until late afternoon, or possibly early evening.

Blowing snow is still creating hazardous conditions on major highways.

Motorists are urged to stay off the roads and allow snowplows and trucks to continue clearing all highways.
