Provincial Traffic Advisory Update

The Department of Transportation and Public Works is advising motorists that visibility on 100-series highways around the province is extremely low. High winds and blowing snow are making driving conditions hazardous.

The section of Highway 104 from the Nova Scotia border near Amherst to Glenholme is closed overnight until about 6 a.m. Barricades are in place.

Snow plows are not operating on Highway 101, from Mount Uniacke to Bear River, until conditions improve -- possibly after midnight.
