TRANSPORTATION/PUBLIC WORKS--Traffic Advisory, Update on Blasting on Highway 103

HALIFAX REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Highway 103, Exits 4 and 5

Blasting scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 1 on Highway 103, between exits 4 and 5, is expected to take place at 1:30 p.m., rather than 10 a.m., as previously planned. Blasting scheduled for Friday, Dec. 3 is expected to take place at 1 p.m., rather than 10 a.m.

Delays of up to half an hour may occur for both eastbound and westbound traffic. Motorists on Trunk 3, near Exit 4, may also experience delays.

Inbound traffic can detour to Trunk 3 at Exit 5, Tantallon. Outbound traffic can detour to Trunk 3 at Exit 4, Hubley.

Traffic control will consist of traffic control persons and signage.
