SENIOR CITIZENS' SECRETARIAT--Task Force on Aging, Meeting Schedule


The provincial government's Task Force on Aging will hold public meetings to discuss Nova Scotia's Positive Aging Strategy.

The meetings will give the public an opportunity to comment on the discussion paper for Nova Scotia's Positive Aging Strategy released on Oct. 20.

Meetings will be held in Digby, Yarmouth, Shelburne, Queens and Lunenburg counties on the following dates:

Tuesday, Nov. 16 Barrington Passage -- 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., Lion's Hall, 2904 Highway 3, Brass Hill

Tuesday, Nov. 16 Shelburne -- 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., Loyalist Branch Legion, 120 Water St.

Wednesday, Nov. 17 Liverpool -- 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., Mercy Branch Legion, 1 Legion Rd.

Wednesday, Nov. 17 Bridgewater -- 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., Bridgewater Legion, 78 Churchill St.

Thursday, Nov. 18 New Ross -- 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., New Ross Legion, 64 Forties Rd.

Tuesday, Nov. 23 Yarmouth -- 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., Yarmouth Legion, 75 Parade Sq.

Tuesday, Nov. 23 Saulnierville 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., Clare Branch Legion, Route #1

Wednesday, Nov. 24 Digby -- 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., Digby Legion, 92 Mount St.
