Winter Hours For The Fundy Geological Museum
The Fundy Geological Museum in Parrsboro is now closed on Mondays. New winter hours start on Dec. 1.
From Dec. 1 to March 31, 2005, exhibitions and the gift shop will be open to the public on Fridays and Saturdays from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
The museum's administrative office and laboratory will be staffed Tuesdays to Fridays, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The museum will close for the holidays on Friday, Dec. 24 and reopen Friday, Jan. 7.
March break events are scheduled for March 11 to 19. Details will be found on the museum's website early in the new year at http://fundygeo.museum.gov.ns.ca .

The Fundy Geological Museum, is part of the Nova Scotia Museum family of provincial museums. Its exhibits showcase Parrsboro's rich natural history, including the fascinating gems and minerals found near the Bay of Fundy, the 325-million-year-old fossils from nearby fossil cliffs and stories of the ancient dinosaurs that once roamed Nova Scotia.
