HALIFAX REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Highway 102
There will be ramp closures at Exit 0 on Highway 102 on Tuesday, Nov. 9 and Wednesday, Nov. 10 for repaving.
On Tuesday Nov. 9, the outbound ramp from Joseph Howe Drive onto Highway 102 will be closed between 6:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.
On Wednesday, Nov. 10, the inbound ramp from Highway 102 onto Joseph Howe Drive will be closed between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.
On both days, a marked detour will be provided.

KINGS COUNTY: Highway 101
On Sunday, Nov. 7, traffic will be rerouted off Highway 101 at Exit 13, at Trunk 12, while bridge work is carried out on the overpass. Traffic control persons will direct traffic to exit the highway at the off ramps, both eastbound and westbound, cross Trunk 12 and re-enter Highway 101 via the on ramps.
Motorists are asked to use caution.

CONTINUING WORK
ANTIGONISH COUNTY: Highway 104
There will be one-lane closures on Highway 104 on the West River Bridge in Antigonish, near the intersection of Church Street and the highway, until Tuesday, Nov. 30. Road crews will be carrying out joint replacement work and repaving.
Traffic control persons will be in place and motorists are asked to use caution while travelling in the area.

CAPE BRETON COUNTY: Route 305
Route 305/Seaview Drive, will have occasional lane closures until Monday, Nov. 15, to facilitate the removal of the temporary panel bridge used during the construction of the new Leitches Creek Bridge. Work will take place weekdays between 7 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Traffic controllers will be in place when necessary.

CAPE BRETON COUNTY: Trunk 4
Three kilometres of Trunk 4 will have periodic lane closures near Middle Cape until Wednesday, Nov. 10, for repaving. Work will take place west of Breac Brook Bridge to the top of the hill in Middle Cape, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily. Traffic control will consist of a pilot vehicle.
Motorists can expect delays and are advised to use alternate routes where possible.

CAPE BRETON COUNTY: Coxheath Road
Coxheath Road will have occasional daytime lane closures until Wednesday, Dec. 15, while the Coxheath Road Bridge is replaced. New interchange ramps will also be constructed. Work will continue until June 2005. Traffic control persons will be in place. A detour is available via Route 4 and Blacketts Lake Road.

CAPE BRETON COUNTY: Highway 125
The shoulder lanes on the four-lane section of Highway 125 near Sydney River will be closed 24 hours a day until Wednesday, Dec. 15, while the highway and the Sydney River Bridge are widened and the Coxheath Road Bridge is replaced. Work in the area will continue until June 2005.
Traffic control will consist of traffic drums and concrete barriers. A detour is available via Route 305.

COLCHESTER/HALIFAX COUNTIES: Route 224
Route 224, from the intersection of Route 277 at Gay's River to the Elderbank Road, about six kilometres, will have intermittent lane closures due to repaving. Traffic control will consist of a pilot vehicle. Work will take place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and will be completed by Friday, Nov. 12.

CUMBERLAND COUNTY: Furlong Bridge
The Furlong Bridge on Trunk 2 near Southampton will be closed until Tuesday, Nov. 30, while the bridge is replaced.
Traffic will be rerouted to a temporary two-lane panel bridge parallel to the existing bridge.

DIGBY COUNTY: Gates Bridge
The Gates Bridge, located near the intersection of Sissiboo Road and Gates Lane, will have a 10-tonne weight restriction until bridge repairs are completed in 2005.
Heavy vehicles are advised to use Trunk 1 and cross the Sissiboo River at Weymouth.

HALIFAX COUNTY: Route 333
There will be one-lane closures on Route 333, from Brookside Road south to Burkes Road, until Tuesday, Nov. 30. Crews will be patching and repaving the road.
Traffic control will consist of traffic control persons, signs and cones. Motorists may experience delays and are advised to use an alternate route.

HALIFAX REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Highway 102
Work will continue on two sections of Highway 102 until Sunday, Nov. 14 while road crews complete bridge repairs.
Section one is about eight kilometres south on Highway 102 from Exit 2 (Kearney Lake) to Ralston Avenue, off Bayers Road.
Section two is about three kilometres north on Highway 102 from Ralston Avenue to Exit 1A (Highway 103).
Motorists may experience minimal delays.

Blasting will take place on Highway 103, between exits 4 and 5, between 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. until Tuesday, Nov. 30. Both eastbound and westbound motorists may experience short delays. Motorists on Trunk 3, near Exit 4, may also experience delays. Traffic controllers will be in place. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

HALIFAX REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Highway 103, Exit 4 (Hubley)
The existing bridge at Exit 4 (Hubley) has been removed and work has begun on its replacement. Motorists crossing Highway 103 on Trunk 3 are asked to detour, with caution, over a temporary structure. Efforts will be made to minimize delays at peak travelling times.
Work will continue until the end of January 2005.

The existing bridge at Exit 5 (Hammonds Plains Road) has been removed and work has begun on its replacement. Motorists crossing Highway 103 on Hammonds Plains Road (Route 213) are asked to detour, with caution, over a temporary structure. Efforts will be made to minimize delays at peak travelling times.
Work will continue until the end of January 2005.

KINGS COUNTY: Simpson Bridge
Simpson Bridge on Gaspereau River Road is closed for major repairs. A detour is available. Traffic control consists of signs.

LUNENBURG COUNTY: Indian Point Bridge
There will be one-lane closures on the Indian Point Bridge near Mahone Bay until Friday, Nov. 12, while the bridge is replaced. The bridge will also be closed to loads wider than 3.5 metres (11 feet).

LUNENBURG COUNTY: Trunk 10
A 500-metre section of Trunk 10, north of the intersection with Highway 103, will be closed until Monday, Nov. 15. A temporary gravel detour will be in place. Motorists may experience short delays and are advised to use an alternate route if possible.

PICTOU COUNTY: Carmichael Road
Toney River Bridge on Carmichael Road in Pictou County is closed until further notice. Traffic control consists of signs. A detour is available on Popular Hill Road and Meadowville Station Road.

SHELBURNE COUNTY: Port Clyde Bridge
The Port Clyde Bridge on Route 309, located 3.4 kilometres south of Highway 103, will have a 12-tonne weight restriction until the bridge is replaced.
Heavy vehicles are advised to use the Clyde River Bridge on Highway 103.
