COLCHESTER COUNTY: Trunk 2
A section of Trunk 2 at Shad Brook will be closed from Monday, Sept. 27 to Sunday, Oct. 31 while a culvert is replaced.
A single-lane detour around the work will be constructed and traffic will be controlled by traffic lights. The maximum width on the detour structure is 3.1 metres.

HANTS COUNTY: Payzant Bog Road, Falmouth
The Payzant Bog Road in Falmouth will be closed, except to local traffic, for bridge repairs, from Monday, Sept. 27 until Friday, Oct. 8. Traffic control will consist of signs. Motorists are asked to follow detour signs.

KINGS COUNTY: Route 358, Greenwich
Crews will be working on the road at the intersection of Trunk 1 and Route 358 in Greenwich from Wednesday Sept. 29 until Tuesday, Oct. 5. Traffic will consist of traffic control persons. Motorists may experience delays and are advised to use alternate routes.

LUNENBURG COUNTY: Hebbs Mill Bridge, Hebbville
The Hebbs Mill Bridge on Trunk 3 in Hebbville will have one-lane closures from Monday, Sept. 27 until Friday, Oct. 8, for bridge work. During this period, the bridge will be closed to loads wider than 3.5 metres (11 feet). Vehicles with wider loads should use Highway 103. Traffic control will consist of traffic signals.

SHELBURNE COUNTY: Shelburne Bridge
The Shelburne Bridge on Trunk 3 in Shelburne will be closed for repairs from Monday, Sept. 27 until Friday, Oct. 1, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily. Motorists are asked to detour to Ohio Road, cross the Welshtown Bridge, then take the Welshtown Road back to Trunk 3.

CONTINUING WORK
ANTIGONISH COUNTY: Route 337
Two sections of Route 337 will have intermittent lane closures until Sunday, Oct. 31.
One section starts at the intersection of Route 337 and Marsh Road at Livingstone Cove and goes seven kilometres west. The other section starts at Cribbons Point Road and goes 2.4 kilometres to South Lakevale Road.
Work will take place between 6 a.m. and 8 p.m. Traffic control will consist of a pilot vehicle.

CAPE BRETON COUNTY: Coxheath Road
Coxheath Road will have occasional daytime lane closures until Wednesday, Dec. 15, while the Coxheath Road Bridge is replaced. New interchange ramps will also be constructed. Work will continue until June 2005. Traffic control persons will be in place and a detour is available via Route 4 and Blacketts Lake Road.

CAPE BRETON COUNTY: Route 305
Route 305, Seaview Drive, will have occasional lane closures until Thursday, Sept. 30, while the Leitches Creek Bridge is replaced. Work will take place weekdays between 7 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Traffic control persons will be in place when necessary.

CAPE BRETON COUNTY: Trunk 4
Three kilometres of Trunk 4 will have periodic lane closures near Middle Cape until Wednesday, Nov. 10, for repaving. Work will take place west of Breac Brook Bridge to the top of the hill in Middle Cape, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily. Traffic control will consist of a pilot vehicle.
Motorists can expect delays and are advised to use alternate routes where possible.

CAPE BRETON COUNTY: Highway 125
The shoulder lanes on the four-lane section of Highway 125 near Sydney River will be closed 24-hours-a-day until Wednesday, Dec. 15, while the highway and the Sydney River Bridge are widened and the Coxheath Road Bridge is replaced. Work in the area will continue until June 2005.
Traffic control will consist of traffic drums and concrete barriers. A detour is available via Route 305.

CAPE BRETON COUNTY: Highway 125
Two sections of Trunk 125 will have intermittent one-lane closures until Friday, Oct. 1 while the bridge is repaired.
Section one is at Exit 2, Peppett Street, and section two is at Exit 3, Leitches Creek 305 overpass. In both sections, eastbound traffic will be reduced to one-lane at various times.
Motorists may experience delays between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. and are asked to use caution while travelling in this area.

COLCHESTER COUNTY: Highway 104
Highway 104 will have intermittent lane closures for repaving until Thursday, Sept. 30. Work is being carried out west of Exit 17, near Valley Cross Roads and easterly to the Manganese Mines Overpass. Traffic in eastbound lanes will be affected and lane widths will be reduced in the Exit 17 area. Work will take place between 6:30 a.m. and 8:30 p.m. daily.
Traffic control will consist of signs. Motorists are asked to use extra caution while travelling in this area.

COLCHESTER COUNTY: Lower Gulch Bridge
Lower Gulch Bridge, on the Mines Bass River Road, will be closed until Thursday, Sept. 30. The bridge is located 900 metres west of Westchester Mountain Road.
Bridge repairs will be carried out between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. daily. A signed detour will be available and traffic control persons will be in place.

COLCHESTER COUNTY: Riversdale Truss Bridge
The Riversdale Truss Bridge will have lane closures and a 10- tonne weight restriction until Friday, Oct. 1.
Road crews will be repairing the bridge between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. The weight restriction will be in effect 24 hours a day. Traffic control will consist of traffic control persons and signs.
The bridge is located on the Riversdale Road, about 7.2 kilometres south of Highway 104.

Route 224, from the intersection of Route 277 at Gay's River to the Elderbank Road, about six kilometres, will have intermittent lane closures due to repaving. Traffic control will consist of a pilot vehicle. Work will take place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and will be complete by Friday, Oct. 15.

CUMBERLAND COUNTY: Furlong Bridge
The Furlong Bridge on Trunk 2 near Southampton will be closed until Sunday Oct. 31, while the bridge is replaced.
Traffic will be rerouted to a temporary two-lane panel bridge parallel to the existing bridge.

GUYSBOROUGH COUNTY: Trunk 7
Trunk 7 will have intermittent one-lane closures until Sunday, Oct. 31. The closures will be in effect from 1.3 kilometres west of Liscomb River to the MacKinley Point Loop Road at Spanish Ship Bay.
Work will take place from daylight to dark, Monday to Friday, with some weekend work.

HALIFAX REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Cobequid Road
Cobequid Road from Sackville Drive to Memory Lane will have lane closures until Thursday, Sept. 30.
Motorists are asked to use caution while travelling through the work site. Delays may be experienced. An alternate route should be used if possible.
Work will take place between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. weekdays. Traffic control will consist of traffic control persons, signs and barrels.

HALIFAX REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Highway 102
The Highway 102/Trunk 2 Interchange, at Exit 5 near Fall River, will have lane closures until Friday, Oct. 1. Road crews will be carrying out interchange improvements between 6:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. daily.

HALIFAX REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Highway 102
Two sections of Highway 102 will have periods of one-lane closures until Sunday, Oct. 31.
Section one is about eight kilometres south on Highway 102 from Exit 2 (Kearney Lake) to Ralston Avenue, off Bayers Road.
Section two is about three kilometres north on Highway 102 from Ralston Avenue to Exit 1A (Highway 103).
The closures may be in effect 24-hours-a-day except between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m. on inbound lanes and between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. on outbound lanes.
Motorists may experience delays and are advised to use an alternate route.
