ANTIGONISH COUNTY: Route 337
Two sections of Route 337 will have intermittent lane closures until Sunday, Oct. 31.
One section starts at the intersection of Route 337 and Marsh Road at Livingstone Cove and goes seven kilometres west. The other section starts at Cribbons Point Road and goes 2.4 kilometres to South Lakevale Road.
Work will take place between 6 a.m. and 8 p.m. Traffic control will consist of a pilot vehicle.

CAPE BRETON COUNTY: Coxheath Road
There will be occasional daytime lane closures on Coxheath Road until Wednesday, Dec. 15, while the Coxheath Road Bridge is replaced. New interchange ramps will also be constructed. Work in the area will continue until June 2005.
Traffic control persons will be in place and a detour is available via Route 4 and Blacketts Lake Road.

CAPE BRETON COUNTY: Route 305
Route 305, Seaview Drive, will have occasional lane closures until Thursday, Sept. 30, while the Leitches Creek Bridge is replaced.
Work will take place weekdays between 7 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Traffic control persons will be in place when necessary.

CAPE BRETON COUNTY: Trunk 4
Three kilometres of Trunk 4 will have periodic lane closures near Middle Cape until Wednesday, Nov. 10, for repaving. Work will take place west of Breac Brook Bridge to the top of the hill in Middle Cape, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily. Traffic control will consist of a pilot vehicle.
Motorists can expect delays and are advised to use alternate routes where possible.

CAPE BRETON COUNTY: Highway 125
The shoulder lanes on the four-lane section of Highway 125 near Sydney River will be closed 24-hours-a-day until Wednesday, Dec. 15, while the highway and the Sydney River Bridge are widened and the Coxheath Road Bridge is replaced. Work in the area will continue until June 2005.
Traffic control will consist of traffic drums and concrete barriers. A detour is available via Route 305.

CAPE BRETON COUNTY: Highway 125
There will be intermittent one-lane closures on two sections of Trunk 125 until Friday, Sept. 24 while bridge repairs are carried out.
Section one is at Exit 2 (Peppett Street) and section two is at Exit 3 (Leitches Creek 305 overpass. In both sections, eastbound traffic will be reduced to one lane at various times.
Motorists may experience delays between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. and are asked to use caution while travelling in this area.

COLCHESTER COUNTY: Highway 104 Highway 104 will have intermittent lane closures for repaving until Thursday, Sept. 30. Work is being carried out west of Exit 17, near Valley Cross Roads and easterly to the Manganese Mines Overpass. Traffic in eastbound lanes will be affected and lane widths will be reduced in the Exit 17 area. Work will take place between 6:30 a.m. and 8:30 p.m. daily.
Traffic control will consist of signage. Motorists are asked to use extra caution while travelling in this area.

COLCHESTER COUNTY: Lower Gulch Bridge
Lower Gulch Bridge, on the Mines Bass River Road, will be closed until Thursday, Sept. 30. The bridge is located 900 metres west of Westchester Mountain Road.
Bridge rehabilitation work will be carried out between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. daily. A signed detour will be available and traffic control persons will be in place.

COLCHESTER COUNTY: Park Street Bridge
There will be alternating lane closures on the Park Street Bridge, on Park Street in Bible Hill on Saturday, Sept. 18 and Sunday, Sept. 19, while bridge maintenance is carried out.
Work will take place between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. and traffic control will consist of signs and traffic control persons.
Motorists may experience delays and are advised to use an alternate route.

COLCHESTER COUNTY: Riversdale Truss Bridge
The Riversdale Truss Bridge will have lane closures and a 10- tonne weight restriction until Friday, Oct. 1.
Road crews will be carrying out bridge repairs between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. The weight restriction will be in effect 24 hours a day. Traffic control will consist of traffic control persons and signs.
The bridge is located on the Riversdale Road, about 7.2 kilometres south of Highway 104.

COLCHESTER/HALIFAX COUNTIES: Route 224
Route 224, from the intersection of Route 277 at Gay's River to the Elderbank Road, about six kilometres, will have intermittent lane closures due to repaving. Traffic control will consist of a pilot vehicle. Work will take place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and will be complete by Friday, Oct. 15.

CUMBERLAND COUNTY: Furlong Bridge
The Furlong Bridge on Trunk 2 near Southampton will be closed until Sunday, Oct. 31, while the bridge is replaced.
Traffic will be rerouted to a temporary two-lane panel bridge parallel to the existing bridge.

GUYSBOROUGH COUNTY: Trunk 7
Trunk 7 will have intermittent one-lane closures until Sunday, Oct. 31. The closures will be in effect from 1.3 kilometres west of Liscomb River to the MacKinley Point Loop Road at Spanish Ship Bay.
Work will take place from daylight to dark, Monday to Friday, with some weekend work.

Trunk 16, between Boylston and Guysborough, will have intermittent lane closures for repaving until Sunday, Oct. 31.

HALIFAX REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Cobequid Road
There will be lane closures on the Cobequid Road from Sackville Drive to Memory Lane until Thursday, Sept. 30.
Motorists are asked to use caution while travelling through the work site. Delays may be experienced. An alternate route should be used if possible.
Work will take place between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. weekdays. Traffic control will consist of traffic control persons, signs and barrels.

The Highway 102/Trunk 2 Interchange, at Exit 5 near Fall River, will have lane closures until Friday, Oct. 1. Road crews will be carrying out interchange improvements between 6:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. daily.

HALIFAX REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Highway 102
There will be periods of one-lane closures on two sections of Highway 102 until Sunday, Oct. 31.
Section one is about eight kilometres south on Highway 102 from Exit 2 (Kearney Lake) to Ralston Avenue.
Section two is about three kilometres north on Highway 102 from Ralston Avenue to Exit 1A (Highway 103).
The closures may now take place 24 hours a day except between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m. on inbound lanes and between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. on outbound lanes.
Motorists may experience delays and are advised to use an alternate route.
HALIFAX REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Prince Street
Prince Street, between Barrington and Granville Streets, will be closed until Sunday, Oct. 10 to allow for upgrades to One Government Place.

Elmsdale Bridge on Trunk 2 between Elmsdale and Lantz is closed until Thursday, Sept. 30. A detour is available around the bridge. Traffic control consists of a detour sign.

The speed limit at the St. Croix interchange at Exit 4 is reduced to 80 km/h until further notice, while bridge and road construction takes place.

Highway 102 northbound lanes, from the Halifax County/Hants County line to Exit 8 at Elmsdale, about five kilometres, will have one-lane closures due to repaving. Work will be complete by Thursday, Sept. 30.

Trunk 14, from Route 202 (Cheesefactory Corner) westerly to Route 354 (Beaverbank Road), about five kilometres, will have lane closures due to repaving. LUNENBURG COUNTY: Mill Brook No. 1 Bridge
The Mill Brook No. 1 Bridge on the Leville Road in New Ross will be closed to loads wider than 3.5 metres (11 feet) until Friday, Sept. 24. One lane will also be closed.
Road crews will be carrying out bridge repairs between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. weekdays.

Toney River Bridge on Carmichael Road in Pictou County is closed until further notice. Traffic control consists of signage. A detour is available on Popular Hill Road and Meadowville Station Road.

The Joudrey Bridge in River John will be closed to all traffic until Thursday, Sept. 30, while the bridge is replaced.

The Middle River Road in Rocklin will be closed to all traffic, between White Hill Road and E. Fraser Road, until Thursday, Sept. 30 while culvert replacement is carried out.
Motorists are advised to follow a signed detour via White Hill Road and E. Fraser Road.
