Sherbrooke Village Announces September Concert Schedule
Sherbrooke Village announced its September concert line-up today, Sept. 1, as the schedule switches from Thursdays to weekend nights.
The Courthouse Concerts will move to Friday nights beginning on Sept. 3 with a country and gospel concert by Gary Jordan. On Sept. 10, George Brothers and Ol Blue make their annual stop at the Courthouse as part of the Sherbrooke Show and Shine festivities.
The following weekend's concert will take place on Saturday, Sept. 18, at St. James Presbyterian Church, in the heart of the historic village. The concert will mark the 200th anniversary of the founding of the congregation and the 150th anniversary of the building of the church. The anniversary concert will feature Country Generations, a 10-piece country and gospel group from the Annapolis Valley.
On Friday, Sept. 24, Roly Burton and Bob MacDonald will be featured along with a number of special guests as the popular Ceilidh at the Courthouse makes its monthly appearance.
All Courthouse Concerts begin at 7:30 p.m. Tickets for most evens are $8 and are available at the door. Tickets for the St. James Anniversary Concert are $10 in advance and $12 at the door. For tickets or information call 1-888-743-7845.
