TRANSPORTATION/PUBLIC WORKS--Traffic Advisory, Bedford Bypass Further Update

UPDATE: To traffic advisory originally transmitted at about 12:25 p.m. and update transmitted at about 1:44 p.m. today, July 21.

HALIFAX REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Bedford Bypass

One lane to Sackville has been reopened to traffic on Magazine Hill, Trunk 7, coming out of Dartmouth and travelling westbound. However, motorists are asked to continue to use Highway 118 due to heavy traffic flow during rush hour.

Transportation and Public Works staff expect to reopen both lanes this evening.

All traffic was diverted to Bedford earlier today, July 21, due to road repair.
