TREASURY/POLICY BOARD--Information on Performance Payments Released

The government of Nova Scotia today, July 9, released information on performance payments made in fiscal 2002-03 to those eligible under the Senior Officials' Pay for Performance Policy.

A list of individual performance payments made to ministerial executive assistants for 2002-03 was also released.

All senior officials and executive assistants provided consent for the release of the information, which may be considered private under the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act.

The government of Nova Scotia annually reports salaries of all civil servants in the Supplement to the Public Accounts. The public can see the total amount earned by any individual in any given fiscal year.
