Premier Proclaims Volunteer Week

Premier John Hamm has proclaimed the week of April 18 to 24 as Volunteer Week in Nova Scotia.

"Volunteers are major contributors to our province and our communities," Premier Hamm said. "Daily across Nova Scotia, volunteers devote their time, talents and energy to make life better for Nova Scotians. This week is a time for all to thank our volunteers and celebrate their accomplishments."

Volunteer Week is an opportunity for communities to pay tribute to volunteers and reflect upon the countless ways they help individuals and organizations throughout the province.
