NEW WORK
HALIFAX REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Major Highways
Motorists are asked to watch for lane and ramp closures on major highways in Halifax Regional Municipality on Saturday, April 10 and Sunday, April 11.
Crews will be continuing to repair lights from 4 p.m. to midnight on the following highways:
- access ramps and highway at intersection of highways 111 and 118 (Lakeview);
- Highway 111 at Exit 5, from MicMac to Woodland exit;
- Burnside Drive near Robert Burns Drive;
- Highway 111 at Portland Street;
- Highway 111 at Burnside Drive; and
- MicMac Parclo.
Motorists are advised to use caution when approaching work zones.
HANTS COUNTY: Avon River Causeway
Motorists are asked to watch for lane closures on the Avon River Causeway on Sunday, April 11. Crews will be repairing lights from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m
Traffic control will consist of signage and motorists are advised to use caution when approaching work zones.
CONTINUING WORK
HALIFAX REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Highway 103
Blasting will take place on Highway 103, at exits 3 and 4, between 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. until September 2004. Both eastbound and westbound motorists may experience short delays. Traffic control consists of traffic control persons. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

HANTS COUNTY: Elmsdale Bridge
Elmsdale Bridge on Trunk 2 between Elmsdale and Lantz is closed until September 2004. A detour is available around the bridge. Traffic control consists of a detour sign.

Simpson Bridge on Gaspereau River Road is closed for major repairs. Detour signage is available.

Toney River Bridge on Carmichael Road in Pictou County is closed until further notice. Traffic control consists of signage. A detour is available on Popular Hill Road and Meadowville Station Road.
