NEW WORK
HALIFAX REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Highway 111/118 Overpass
Motorists heading north on Highway 111 this weekend won't be able to access the Woodland Avenue exit onto Highway 118.
Exit 4 south on Highway 111 will be closed on Saturday, Feb. 14 and Sunday, Feb. 15. Crews will be repairing the overpass structure connecting highways 111 and 118.
To access Woodland Avenue from Highway 111, motorists are asked to use exit 5 or exit 6.
Weather permitting, work will begin at 6 a.m. on Saturday and continue until completed on Sunday.
A detour and traffic control measures will be in place.

HALIFAX REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Beechville Interchange
Motorists leaving Highway 103 at Exit 2 will see a new traffic control device at the end of the off-ramp.
A traffic light will be replacing a stop sign where the off-ramp joins St. Margaret's Bay Road.
The light is expected to be fully operational on Wednesday, Feb. 18. Until then, it will be flashing.

CONTINUING WORK
COLCHESTER COUNTY: Fred Tupper Bridge
There will be closures on the Fred Tupper Bridge until Friday, March 5 while repairs are conducted. The bridge will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. from Monday to Friday. It will be open evenings and weekends. Detour routes are in place on Meadowvale Road, South Branch Road and Cove Road.

HALIFAX REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Highway 103
Blasting will take place on Highway 103, at exits 3 and 4, between 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. until September 2004. Both eastbound and westbound motorists may experience short delays. Traffic control consists of traffic control persons. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

HANTS COUNTY: Elmsdale Bridge
Elmsdale Bridge on Trunk 2 between Elmsdale and Lantz is closed until September 2004. A detour is available around the bridge. Traffic control consists of a detour sign.

Simpson Bridge on Gaspereau River Road is closed for major repairs. Detour signage is available.

Toney River Bridge on Carmichael Road in Pictou County is closed until further notice. Traffic control consists of signage. A detour is available on Popular Hill Road and Meadowville Station Road.
