HALIFAX REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Highway 103
Blasting will take place on Highway 103, at exits 3 and 4, between 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. until September 2004. Both eastbound and westbound motorists may experience short delays. Traffic control consists of traffic control persons. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

HANTS COUNTY: Elmsdale Bridge
Elmsdale Bridge on Trunk 2 between Elmsdale and Lantz is closed until June 2004. A detour is available around the bridge. Traffic control consists of a detour sign.

HANTS COUNTY: Highway 101
Highway 101, from Mount Uniacke to the Stillwater overpass, is now open. Work will continue in isolated areas. The speed limit is 100 km/h. Motorists may occasionally experience some minor traffic delays in areas where traffic has been reduced from two lanes to one.

KINGS COUNTY: Simpson Bridge
Simpson Bridge on Gaspereau River Road is closed for major repairs. Detour signage is available.

PICTOU COUNTY: Black Brook Bridge
Black Brook Bridge on Minto Road is closed until Wednesday, Dec. 24, for removal and replacement of the bridge structure. Detour signage is available.

PICTOU COUNTY: Carmichael Road
Toney River Bridge on Carmichael Road in Pictou County is closed until further notice. Traffic control consists of signage. A detour is available on Popular Hill Road and Meadowville Station Road.

Joudrey Road is closed except to local traffic for culvert repairs, until further notice. A detour is available from Louisville Road to Route 6. Work takes place 24 hours a day.

The Canal Bridge in Raynardton will be closed to all traffic until Saturday, Dec. 20 to facilitate replacement of the structure. Traffic control consists of detour signage.
