Premier Salutes Danny Graham

Premier John Hamm expressed regret that Liberal leader Danny Graham announced his resignation today, Dec. 16.

"Danny Graham is a bright and capable individual who has much to offer to our province," said the premier. "All Nova Scotians should be grateful to Mr. Graham for stepping up and taking an active role in politics, bringing with him new ideas and new people to the Liberal party and the legislature."

The premier said he wishes Mr. Graham and his family the very best.

"Public life can be very demanding on the families for those involved and I applaud Mr. Graham for putting his family first," added the premier. "The prayers of Genesta and I are with Danny, Sheelagh and their family as they face this difficult time in their lives together."
